Ventura Rodríguez covered an enormous variety of architectural typologies: he worked from church projects and constructions, interventions in altars, convents, and cathedrals to public works and civil architecture.

His numerous drawings are preserved in institutions such as the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, the National Library of Madrid or the Accademia di San Luca in Rome, as well as in the Museum of History of the City of Madrid, in its Municipal Archive Museum or in the National Historical Archive, Royal Palace Archive and other public and private collections. He was undoubtedly an artist with great skill and sensitivity.
